Conroe Aquatic Center: Run by the city of Conroe, the Aquatic Center feature three pools. One is a zero depth, recreation pool with a playground featuring water blasters, mini-slides, and a huge tipping bucket that douses pool users periodically. The other two pools are indoor, heated facilities. One pool is used for laps and other fitness activities; the other pool is a 25-yard, 8-lane pool geared to competition practice.

Conroe’s medical facilities have grown with the area. Today, the Conroe Regional Medical Center boasts 250 doctors on staff and 360 beds; it is a major hospital capable of handling all emergencies. A partnership with the Women’s Hospital of Texas is allowing Conroe Regional to offer exceptional gynecologic and obstetric care. Conroe Regional Medical Center’s Heart and Vascular Institute offer top-notch cardiac care.
